The Ericsson Application Awards is a global app competition with two main categories: one for students and one for companies.
In the Student Category
- Team Bhangra – Shobhit Sharda & Taniya Singh from Germany Were the Runnersup. This team secured the second prize from among the 142 Teams from 63 countries around the world.
- Shobhit Sharda was a Student from Amrita Vidyalayam, Kozhikode. He passed out in the year 2007. He has completed BTech course in Information technology from Amrita University, Kollam.
