Amrita Vidyalayam Kozhikode celebrated Guru Purnima on Wednesday, 13th July 2022 with great fervour and reverence. The ceremony began with the lighting of the lamp by the Academic Advisor Gangadharan sir. The prayers that followed included Amma’s ashtotharam, Guru Stothram and Guru Paduka Stothram.
Thereafter, a speech on Gurupurnima and the importance of the Guru in our life was delivered. A short cultural programme that included bhajan competition was also conducted. The puja prasad was distributed to all the staff as well as students. The celebration concluded with the shanti mantra.
