September 13th, 2022 was a momentous and remarkable day in Amrita Vidyalayam Kozhikode. Swamiji, Principal ma’am and Gangadharan sir together inaugurated our Samskriti Pooja celebrations by lighting the lamp and chanting our beloved Amma’s name. Swamiji gave us an enlightening speech on Amma as our guru, and revering our gurus. In all the classrooms, children prepared for the padapuja ritual, following Swamiji’s instructions. Prayers were chanted as children devotedly washed their elders’ feet, applied kumkum and chandan on the washed feet, and worshipped them using earthen lamps and incense sticks. Kheer and puja prasad were distributed among staff and children.
