Amrita Vidyalayam Kozhikode conducted Amrita Sports Meet from October 25th to 28th. The principal hoisted the flag as part of the inauguration and addressed the students. The sports captain also spoke briefly about the benefits of sports. The head boy and girl assisted the Physical Education teacher in the coordination of the various events. After a brilliant march-past by the four houses, the oath taking ceremony by the house leaders took place.
KG and Primary classes had events such as 50m race, frog jump, balloon blast, biscuit bite, water filling, and lemon race. The other classes had running events, long jump, shot-put, javelin throw, discus throw and relay. After all the events, medals and certificates were distributed to the winners by the principal.
