Amrita Vidyalayam Kozhikode observed Gita Jayanthi Day on December 3, 2022. The principal lit the lamp with the chanting of slokas. The Sanskrit teacher delivered a brief speech in Sanskrit to inculcate and revive awareness about our scriptures and their greatness. The interpretation of several slokas from the Bhagavad Gita, group chanting of the Gita, and a tableau presentation of Lord Krishna greeting his ardent and beloved devotee Sudhama revived our nostalgia for the stories in the epic Mahabharata. Students and teachers offered flowers at the feet of Lord Krishna. The school witnessed the enchanting Gita Arathi before winding up the programme.
