In connection with the C-20 Gender Equality programme at Amrita Vidyalayam, Kozhikode, the students were made aware of gender discrimination, highlighting the fact that gender-based violence, including physical, sexual, and psychological abuse, is prevalent worldwide. This not only violates our basic human rights, but also hampers our overall well-being and impedes the progress of the nation.
Gender equality is not only a matter of social justice, but also a crucial factor for sustainable development and progress. Only through collective efforts can we create a world where everyone, regardless of their gender, can thrive and reach their full potential. This was followed by a students’ pledge. Students also took part actively in the C20 GE LOGO FORMATION.
