Ganesh Chaturthi was celebrated by Amrita Vidyalayam Kozhikode on August 31 with great passion and devotion. The puja rituals began at 8.a.m with lighting of the lamp by Principal ma’am. With prayers and invocations, the whole atmosphere was charged with divinity. Lord Ganesha was welcomed by the tunes of “Ganapathi Bappa Moriya“.
Speech on the significance of the festival, bhajans praising Lord Ganesha, and a dance with exuberant music on this occasion added to the festive mood. Students and teachers offered flowers seeking the blessings of Lord Ganesha.
